Thanks for the Welcomes! I'm in Galway in the West of Ireland Kathy and with all the info here I can see why it's a lifeline to you! And yes Mark, the more homework done now may save some headaches later! :D

If the heifers can breed at that young age, what about the bulls? At what age are they capable of impregnating a heifer? ie. if there are males and females born about the same time in the herd what is the procedure? ???

I'd like to say hello to everyone as I am new to this forum and would also like to say thank you to Mark for setting up the Site so we can share (in my case learn) information about the Dexters! I hope to get some heifers/cows for breeding in the near future and will be trying to read all the posts...
