Rob
Details are in with the site just waiting for them to post/approve the advert. I would be very grateful of any enquiries seems a shame to cull a good bull really but we need to keep things moving at this end

Re: Bull For Sale
Hi We have come to the point now with this bull, that due to our change in policy he has to be on his way. If anyone is interested he is a decent pedigree stock bull with plenty of life left in him and has sired some good calves. We would like around £500 for him but if we have no takers in the next...

Re: Bull For Sale
Hi all
I think i might have made him sound bad not, but this is not the case!!
We are in Barnsley S Yorkshire (TB 4years). He is de-horned but not polled, I have certificates for his pedigree, we wll be sad to see him go really but we are having a change round in system.
Cheers

Bull For Sale
Hi We have decided to sell our pedigree Black Dexter Bull he will be 7 years old now I think, he is in good fettle and keen to work. He is quiet, can be a little head strong when he has no ladies to serve but otherwise fine, and has produced piles of good calves that can be seen. Please get in touch...

Re: Finished Heifer
Hi Rob
At a guess id say 350kgs, its 27 months, it notified but its is pure dexter from pedigree parents, its a good looking animal but its a bit flighty so I think it is the best cure for it. Any ideas would be appreciated

Re: It's not just auction prices that are on the floor...
Hi
Reading some of the posts, can anyone suggest a butcher that may be worth contacting regarding the finished heifer we have. We are based in S Yorks, but don't mind travelling within an hour or so to deliver
Cheers

Finished Heifer
I now have a finished heifer available, 27 months if anyone requires one for a job, we are based in south Yorkshire and are open to sensible offers, thought I would ask around rather than putting through local abattoir.
Cheers

Bull Hire
HI
I am thinking of putting my Dexter Bull out for hire from say mid November, he is about 7 years old long legged pedigree, he's is really good natured and has thrown us some cracking calves. I only want him to go into a 4 year TB area. Anyone interested please drop me a line

I really want to argue with you on this one, but I sense you might be right!!!!! From point of view though if I could find other breeders within say 50 miles of us (we are in south yorks) it is something I would consider, but im not sure how much support would be around?

If a standard of cattle was introduced and could be agreed on I don't see why such an idea couldn't work, surely with other schemes such as the Angus named sired schemes there must be massive cattle variation????
