tThe oldest thing on our farm is Geoff age 72 still looking after our dexters with his 1963 Massey fergie which he was brought up on when he left school

Just been reading the classes you would be better with
calf under 12 month
heifer 12-18 month
heifer in calf or in milk
cow in calf or in milk
as if you have to many younger classes you might only 1 or 2 in a class
have you got a dexter judge

Hi do not where you come from but the northern group have what we call a calf show at Thirsk cattle market on 8th November its really for people who has not shown before and there is 3 different age groups for the cattle if you look on the northern dexter group website you will see all the details Jen

I would get some calf powder bucket feed it and let it run with the other cows
and it might sneak some milk off them as well. as we had a orphan off someone else
last year and it shared at 2 cows all summer
