Topic: sad day today ! - Had to sell the last of my ducks

We are in the same position here in Sweden. With spring around the corner I cant imagine locking up my muscovy ducks or italian geese. Their pond has been frozen for months now and the thought of locking in them is too much. I will have to euthanise them I suppose.

My embryo question caused a collective sigh so never one to give up easily here comes the next; distributors of dexter semen within the EU? Anybody have any adresses/web adresses? Thanks for any help with this one

Thanks for your reply Duncan. Why do we vets like the idea of small cattle? Is it possible we have knocked around too much by the big ones? The Danes believe that 50 to 80% of their milk herds have paraTB and a new program is underway to look for it in milk tanks. Beef cattle are under no pressure ...

Hello from a frosty Sweden. Like our French friends it is difficult to omport live animals to Sweden.The reason being the outstanding zoosanitary level here.
