It is not the same calf !
There were 2 pictures of 2 different calves , both by the same sire and born within a week of each other.

Thankyou Duncan I hadn't thought of it in that way of trying to affect the result. I guess we'll just wait and see what happens. Another thing though , if she is a reactor , will her calf automatically be infected ? If she has calved by the next test ( I jolly well hope so ) will her calf be taken ...

Yes , I had 141 kg of meat , I don't know what his actual deadweight was.
Didn't think of a weighband , we have such a thing for the horses , assume I need a specific cow one though .

Thankyou Margaret - Yep , these girls wil obvioulsy be black , I have looked at some dun calves through a google search and they are certainly not dun and sure not red.
