Agreed Louisa,. Templeton herd was world famous. Her herd was the oldest in the country. Ypsiity is the oldest prefix but it was inherited by Sue Rheam from her father. Now the DCS online herd book is for members only the animals for sale or hire is resticted to members only. Surely this should be open to new potential buyers? Best to advertise on this site.

You hadn't by any chance just bedded down? Cows and especially bulls often get so excited when fresh straw put down. Be very careful when you bed down even if that is not the reason this time.

Saw Pearl yesterday and today. She is undergoing chemo at present but unfortunately contracted pneumonia last week. Looks as though she is responding to antibiotics as she looked better today than yesterday. Will keep you updated. I am sure she would love to hear from anybody.
